What is Memorial Day? My Father, a Vietnam Veteran, always made sure we understood the difference between Memorial Day and Veteran's Day. Please remember that Memorial Day, a federal holiday held the last Monday in May, is the nation's foremost annual day to mourn and honor its deceased service men and women. It is not a "happy" day in our Country, it is an opportunity to reflect, pause, and remember those who have given the ultimate sacrifice for all of us as we enjoy our family and friends this weekend! |
