SAVE THE DATE - Saturday, September 20th, Mid Life Crisis will be performing on the Main Stage as we raise funds for our capital campaigns!
Templeton Fish & Game Club is a volunteer led organization which requires the help of many people to make our little club tick. Special thanks was given to Eric Adamson at Monday's members meeting - Eric is our DEP liaison and highly involved in all things at the club from attending meetings and gaining permits from the town hall to working with the state on NOI orders and other DEP regulations. His talents are invaluable to the Templeton Fish & Game Club and we are fortunate to have him on our Board and working for all of us! Thank you Eric for all you do for the Club! In addition our Bar Manager Diane McDonald and her whole staff have worked tirelessly throughout the very busy summer months with numerous events being hosted here at the Templeton Fish & Game Club - we are grateful for her leadership in this very important position and ensuring those who use our club have an enjoyable experience! To our Kitchen Crew of Roger, Don, and Pat, they give back to the club with their cooking skills whenever they get the chance! We all get to enjoy the benefits of their labor! Thank you to Cheryl Beauregard who donated a new hot dog machine to the club and to Donna St. Jean for her fabulous desserts she has been making for our pop-up meals! Thank you to Dena St. Pierre who helps with many of our events and does all of our event flyers for free! Finally, thank you to Ricky Leger and Wayne Arsenault for fixing a leaky water tank that needed repair - as you can see, it takes a village, and we have a strong one here at Templeton Fish & Game Club!
VOLUNTEERS STILL NEEDED: Norm Cormier is still looking for a few volunteers to help with brush cutting on the dam – it is a hard task – looking for volunteers September 14th at 9:00 AM – if you need hours this is an opportunity. Please reach out to Norm if you are interested. Eric is also STILL looking for volunteers to help get rid of an invasive weed we had last year – Velvet Leaf – if anyone notices it this year, please let Eric know - he is looking for a crew who wants to pull the weeds – it is so invasive we need to get after it before it take over. Please reach out to Eric Adamson. You can find contact information for our Board members on the Leadership page of our website. Thank you in advance for giving of your time!
UPDATED IMPORTANT NOTICES TO ALL MEMBERS Paul Cormier, Eric Adamson, and members of the board developed a Capital Improvement Plan that is now available at the club. You will find it near the other member forms in a binder. The plan includes a strategic plan and capital improvements for the next 25 years to keep the Templeton Fish & Game Club in business. Members are encouraged to read the plan. Bid were received for the Club roof and the membership voted to accept a bid - the project will be complete in November! IMPORTANT - Any camp owners, especially those who live on the water, and plan to do any work in November or through the winter months must contact Eric Adamnson ASAP - these projects require an NOI from the state and take approximately 3 months to secure - once secured, they are good for three years. All other camp owners must still contact the lot committee for any work you have planned - Lot Committee approvals are good for one year. This month's Member Meeting will be held Monday, September 29th starting promptly at 6:30. Camps for sale are posted in the clubhouse and also on the Camps for Sale page of our website! Owners looking to publish their Camps for sale should contact Lynn Sayarath.
Camp owners who are selling their camps, please see the special notice posted on the Membership page of our website. The Lot Committee meets on the second Monday of each month starting at 6:00 at the Club, the next Lot Committee meeting will be held on Monday, September 8th. The Lot alteration building construction permit form can be found on the Member Forms page of the website. Before beginning any work, please ensure you have a permit. Waterfront owners must go through the club and conservation before any work can be approved - this is REQUIRED!
Do you need to update your mailing address, email, or phone with the club? Please use our new contact update form located on our website! You can find the form on our Member Forms page. Are you selling your camp? After posting the camp for sale at the Club, you can add a listing and photos to our "Camps for Sale" page on our website - please contact Lynn Sayarath bostonterrier97@comcast.net to add your camp details!
