Greetings Templeton Fish and Game Members, Guests, and Community Members!
This past weekend marked the final weekend of our very popular Summer Music Series held at the Pond View Pub! Thank you to Dave Malouin and the talented musicians who joined our Open Mic. The summer months have been a great success pond side and we appreciate everyone who came out to support the musicians and our club each Sunday! Be on the lookout for more live entertainment inside the club during the colder months! The Queen of Hearts is still alive, so come down and take a chance to win - the drawing occurs every Friday at 7:00 sharp! This Saturday, September 20th, we will host our Annual Capital Campaign Fundraiser featuring MidLife Crisis starting at 6:00 - the evening will also feature raffles to benefit the Club! We are still looking for basket raffles - if you have something to donate, please contact Diane McDonald at the bar! Save the Date for our Annual Halloween Party for the kids including a spooky walk through the Haunted Forest - Camp owners are encouraged to join us in the forest starting at 1:00 on Saturday, October 18th to distribute candy and goodies to all the goblins - pizza and the Reptiles of New England will be performing in the club following till 4:00 PM!
GOOD OF THE CLUB: Thank you to Mike & Terry Langlois for the new spruced up sign for the Templeton Fish & Game Club at the Club Road entrance! We appreciate all you do for our club! Thank you to Donna & Les Regan who travel the grounds weekly picking up trash and keeping our land around the pond clean! Thank you to Cody Leger for the installation of new lights at the horse shoe pits behind the clubhouse, they provide excellent light during the evening, especially at this time of year when daylight is getting shorter! Finally, thank you to my Editor in Chief, Jennifer O'Donnell, who edits this email weekly for me before I send it out to the masses - I appreciate her catching all my errors and oversights to ensure a well read newsletter is on the way! UPDATED IMPORTANT NOTICES TO ALL MEMBERS
IMPORTANT - Any camp owners, especially those who live on the water, and plan to do any work in November or through the winter months must contact Eric Adamnson ASAP - these projects require an NOI from the state and take approximately 3 months to secure - once secured, they are good for three years. All other camp owners must still contact the lot committee for any work you have planned - Lot Committee approvals are good for one year. This month's Member Meeting will be held Monday, September 29th starting promptly at 6:30. Camps for sale are posted in the clubhouse and also on the Camps for Sale page of our website! Owners looking to publish their Camps for sale should contact Lynn Sayarath.
Camp owners who are selling their camps, please see the special notice posted on the Membership page of our website. The Lot Committee meets on the second Monday of each month starting at 6:00 at the Club, the final Lot Committee meeting of the year will be held on Monday, October 13th. The Lot alteration building construction permit form can be found on the Member Forms page of the website.
Before beginning any work, please ensure you have a permit. Waterfront owners must go through the club and conservation before any work can be approved - this is REQUIRED!
Do you need to update your mailing address, email, or phone with the club? Please use our new contact update form located on our website! You can find the form on our Member Forms page. Are you selling your camp? After posting the camp for sale at the Club, you can add a listing and photos to our "Camps for Sale" page on our website - please contact Lynn Sayarath bostonterrier97@comcast.net to add your camp details!
If you know someone not getting these Weekly Happenings, they can sign up to receive them by visiting the "Weekly Happenings Sign-Up" page on our website! You can also read an online version of the Weekly Happenings that will be posted every Wednesday afternoon on the homepage of our website after the emails are sent. Check out our website anytime you are looking for more information about the club!
Lastly, the club is open Tuesday and Thursday 6-9 PM, Friday 5-10 PM, and Saturday and Sunday 1-6 PM (times may vary if there is an event at the club). Stop in and share some cheer!

Walk through the Haunted Forest starting at 1:00 PM in the South End of the pond and then head to the Club for a Spooktacular party! The Reptile Show of New England will start at 2:00 and pizza will be served!

A.IX.s5.b. All Conservation Commission permits must be filed with the Lot Committee for a fee in accordance with the Schedule of Fees and Fines for each permit. This includes cleaning existing beaches; addition of sand, minor repairs to docks, piers, steps, walls, wharfs and rafts. Remove dead vegetation from beaches and immediate shoreline. Also includes minor repairs to existing driveways; selective cutting of (1 or 2) trees; and grinding of stumps to below ground level. All permits must be in place before any work can be done, and a printed copy must be posted on the property being modified per the permit. All open permits must be posted on the club website.
