Greetings Templeton Fish and Game Members, Guests, and Community Members!
As we approach the 25th Anniversary of the 9/11 attacks this coming Friday, we will never forget. We remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the extraordinary courage of the first responders and ordinary Americans who ran toward danger to help others that day. The Templeton Fish & Game Club pauses to honor their memory and the spirit of unity that brought our nation together in the days that followed. May we continue to remember not only what we lost that day, but how we came together afterward, with compassion, courage, and love of country.
This past weekend, we had a fantastic couple of days at the Templeton Fish & Game Club! Thank you to all the artists who brought their musical talent to the Templeton Fish and Game Club. Thank you to Mama Loves Catering for the fantastic food Saturday night, and to all of our volunteers who make these events tick! As the summer winds down and folks start to head south, we wish those leaving safe travels, and for those gearing up for Fall, stay tuned; we have more fun coming your way!
The Queen of Hearts continues this Friday night and is drawn at 7:00 sharp! Come down and enjoy a cold one and take a chance to find her! This coming Sunday Something WICKED is coming to the water at Templeton Fish & Game Club. This Sunday is also our final Summer Music Series event at the Pond View Pub featuring Derek D'Acoustic from 2:00 - 5:00! Come down and enjoy a cold one with some great music and friends, and check out the wicked happenings on the pond! All proceeds of the Witches paddle will benefit our entertainment fund to bring more great music to TF&G. Speaking of wicked happenings, our Annual Kids Halloween Party is coming on Saturday, October 17th from 12:00 - 3:00 PM - see all the details below!
Line Dancing with Teri is back this coming Tuesday, September 15th from 6:30 - 8:00 in the Clubhouse. This is the Beyond Beginners Class, more line dancing options may come later this fall - see more details below! Anyone interested in playing American Mahjong on Thursday nights is welcome to join in on the fun from 6:00 - 8:00 PM in the Clubhouse. IMPORTANT NOTICES TO ALL MEMBERS
Town of Templeton Override Vote scheduled for Monday, September 28th - Property owners should be aware that the Town of Templeton has a Proposition 2½ override vote scheduled for later this month. If the override passes, property owners should anticipate an increase in their annual property taxes. The proposed override is intended to address a town budget shortfall affecting essential services, including police, fire, EMS, and DPW services. We encourage members who are Templeton residents and property owners to stay informed about the upcoming vote.
Fall Cleanup Coming Soon - Finally, our annual Fall Cleanup will be here before we know it! Ricky will share the date as soon as it is finalized. Club members are encouraged to come out and lend a hand as we prepare the property for the colder months.
