Greetings Templeton Fish and Game Members, Guests, and Community Members!
From the Chairman, Paul Cormier: Wishing all of our members a very Happy Thanksgiving and a wonderful holiday with family and friends. We are grateful for the incredible support our members and community continue to show the Templeton Fish & Game Club. At Monday night’s members meeting, Paul expressed sincere appreciation for the many volunteers who keep our club running—your time and energy make everything possible. This was especially evident at our recent Turkey Raffle. Volunteers sold tickets, ran multiple raffles, handled food each round, set up, broke down, and managed everything in between. Thanks to all of you, the event was a great success, raising over $3,500, with a strong bar night as well—THANK YOU! And a special thank you to Don, Roger, and Pat for preparing the delicious corn chowder that was also enjoyed by all.
The year may be coming to a close, but the fun at Templeton Fish & Game Club continues in December! We have two great nights for you starting with our Annual Ugly Sweater Party featuring the music of Kyle & Matt Black on Saturday, December 13th and we will ring in 2026 on Wednesday, December 31st with live music from Neon Ally! Come ring in the New Year with us and bring your friends!
BLACK FRIDAY and The Queen of Hearts - the Queen is alive and we will have a Queen of Hearts drawing this coming Friday, Black Friday! The club opens at 5:00 so grab your family and friends who might be in town and come down and enjoy some cheer and take a chance to win! The Queen of Hearts crew is looking for a few more volunteers to put on their calendar rotation starting in January - if you are interested in volunteering please reach out to Shelby Cota - volunteer hours at the Queen count toward new membership quotas. Line Dance with Teri on Tuesday nights has been very popular - come down and see what all the boot kicking fun is all about - beginner to advanced line dancers welcome!
FIRE RISK - ATTENTION - smoldering ash was found in our leaf pile again on Hogan Road recently in addition to trash that was dumped there. ABSOLUTELY NO TRASH OR ASH is allowed in the leaf pile - smoldering ash presents a major risk to our forest and the existing camps along Rainbow Drive if that were to ignite and spread - it has been particularly dry - please use common sense, take your ash and your trash elsewhere! The disposal of trash is also considered illegal dumping and will be treated as such if the offender is identified. Please respect our property.
UPDATED IMPORTANT NOTICES TO ALL MEMBERS 2026 Membership Renewal Letters can be found on our Membership page to download a copy if you did not receive one in the mail. Membership dues are $75 and due by January 1st, 2026. Senior Members rates are $37.50 for any member who is 65 or older anytime in 2026. Payments received after 1/1/26 that do not include the $15 late fee will be returned. Members can visit the Membership page of our website for more details. Once dues have been paid, Membership Cards will be available for pickup behind the bar - cards will NOT be mailed. Questions about memberships can be sent to Jennifer O'Donnell, our Membership Secretary.
IMPORTANT CLUB PAYMENT UPDATE: Effective January 1st, 2026, PayPal will no longer be accepted for any type of club related business payments. After further review by our Board, the fees are considerable, and not worth the expense. All payments for taxes and annual dues must be sent in the form of a check or money order payable to Templeton Fish & Game Club. Cash will be accepted for payments, but is highly discouraged - thank you in advance for complying with this change.
IMPORTANT - The next monthly members meeting will be held Monday, January 28th starting at 6:30 sharp! There will NOT be a membership meeting in December (Happy Holidays). Come participate in your club! The pond draw down will begin on Sunday November 30th - the dam is generally left open for 10-11 days - any NEW work being done along the shoreline MUST have a permit! Once the draw down exposes the shoreline, camp owners are allowed to rake out the shoreline or do any repairs to existing docks or shoreline structures that already exists - this is included in our blanket permit from the DEP. Any camp owners, who plan to do any new work to the shoreline MUST have a permit! Please contact Eric Adamson for more information. The Lot Committee meetings will resume in April 2026! The club is also working on the construction of a new dock for the pond near the lower pavilion. Camps for sale are posted in the clubhouse and also on the Camps for Sale page of our website! Owners looking to publish their Camps for sale should contact Lynn Sayarath.
Camp owners who are selling their camps, please see the special notice posted on the Membership page of our website. Do you need to update your mailing address, email, or phone with the club?
