Greetings Templeton Fish and Game Members, Guests, and Community Members!
Long newsletter this week, but lots to share with you all! Our Members meeting on Monday night was well attended - we installed three new Board members, Jennifer O'Donnell our Sargent of Arms who will also be our Membership Secretary will be finishing out the final year of Michael Godin's term, Ricky Leger, Lot Committee will serve a three year term, Teri Doucette who has been substituting as our Board secretary will assume the role officially for a three year term. Eric Adamson renewed his status as our DEP Liaison for three more years. Thank you to these members for stepping up to manage our club. A big thank you was given to John Cormier, who has served on our Board for many, many years. John knows everything there is to know about this club and has worked tirelessly over the years tending to all the different tasks and needs to keep the club operating - THANK YOU to John for your years of service to the Templeton Fish & Game Club! A big thank you was also made to each and every member who volunteers their time to work many of the functions, cut the grass, attend and support fundraising efforts, fix things that need repair, donating costly items, and on and on - it takes a village for sure to keep our little pond at it's best, so THANK YOU!
FIRE WARNING: With a lack of rain recently and dry conditions, please be mindful of your fire pits and do not leave them unattended - it would not take much to ignite grass and other brush or possibly your property. Also, a reminder since this was an issue last season, do NOT dump anything but leaves in the leaf pile on Hogan Road, especially not ash from your firepit, it could still be smoldering and start a large fire. This should be common sense, but it happened last season. Thank you for taking care of our Club.
The Queen of Hearts will be drawn at 7:00 on Friday night at the club. The drawing is open to the public and the bar is open! Grab your friends and come down and enjoy a cold one. Our very popular Summer Music Series continues this coming Sunday, August 3rd featuring "Scott Alan Savoie" playing from 3-6 PM at the Pond View Pub - see the full lineup below! Please follow our Facebook page for any weather-related updates during the series!

Please reach out to Norm if you are interested.
