Greetings Templeton Fish and Game Members, Guests, and Community Members!
Thank you to everyone who came out this past weekend to support the club - we had a great weekend starting with the Queen on Friday and then West End Country on Saturday. Speaking of the Queen, she is still alive! The Queen of Hearts is still hiding at Templeton Fish and the jackpot is now $14,325 this week! Come down to the club on Friday and enjoy a cold beverage with friends and take your chance to find her! With warmer days upon us, we are beginning to see more activity around the pond - Pease be mindful of your speed, the Speed Limit on all club roads is 5MPH!
Summer is coming and our Annual fishing derby will begin Memorial Day and run through Labor Day, stay tuned for more details! Tickets for our Chicken BBQ being held the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend, Saturday, May 24th are on sale now for $15 per person! Do not delay, save the date and get your tickets now for this annual event that sells out every year! We will have live music by Dennis Chaisson and the Empty Bottle Boys from 2:00 - 5:00 PM that afternoon for your entertainment!
UPDATED IMPORTANT NOTICES TO ALL MEMBERS A reminder to all Camp owners, quarterly taxes are due on Thursday, May 1st - please see details below about paying your taxes on time! The Lot Committee meets on the second Monday of each month starting at 6:00 at the Club. The Lot alteration building construction permit form can be found on the Member Forms page of the website. Before beginning any Spring work, please ensure you have a permit.
Important Trash Notice for Camp Owners: The Board is asking Camp owners to consider using a different trash collection company to save our roads - Gelinas and Ken's both use smaller trucks to pick up trash compared with the large trash collection trucks used by other companies that are tearing up the roads especially during the spring mud season. While this is not required, we ask your consideration to do your part to preserve our roads from heavy duty traffic.
Speed bumps at the Bridge will be reset soon, they will be securely set this year, and we again, ask everyone coming to the club side of the pond to proceed with caution over the bridge. Finally, our roof at the Club needs to be replaced and this is not a project we can delay another year - we do not want to wait until we have a major problem and prices continue to climb - we have some saved funds for the project but we will need more to cover the entire costs - more to come on this project, we welcome input from members or other fundraising ideas, please reach out to Paul or John.

After posting the camp for sale at the Club, you can add a listing and photos to our "Camps for Sale" page on our website - please contact Lynn Sayarath bostonterrier97@comcast.net to add your camp details!

Lastly, the club is open Tuesday 6-9 PM, Friday 5-10 PM, and Saturday and Sunday 1-6 PM (times may vary if there is an event at the club). Stop in and share some cheer!

Spring Club CleanupSaturday, May 10th
Our Spring Club Cleanup will be held on Saturday, May 10th starting at 9:00AM! All members are encouraged to participate and help - many hands make for lighter work! Probationary members can earn volunteer hours by participating. Please bring any rakes, leaf blowers, etc. you might have to help.
Several volunteers will also be needed to clean the inside of the club including the kitchen and windows – rain date will be the following Saturday, May 17th. |

Grass MowerVolunteers NeededThe club is in need of volunteers to help cut the lawn this coming season. If you are able to volunteer, there are sign-up sheets in the club. We are looking for volunteers willing to donate your time to cut the lawn 1-2 times during the season.
Together, we can ensure the club is properly maintained while sharing the load. We are grateful for your help. |
