Greetings Templeton Fish and Game Members, Guests, and Community Members!
From the Chairman, Paul Cormier - Congratulations to the Templeton Fish & Game Club for the newly shingled roof that has been installed on our Clubhouse. Thank you to all who donated money, volunteers who donated their time to our events, BBQ Committee, Fish Fry Committee, Meat Raffle, and Raise the Roof Committee. The finished product is the collective effort of many and will serve the club well for years to come! Our Capital Campaign efforts are paying off to improve our Club.
The Queen of Hearts is back and will be drawn on Friday night at 7:00! Tickets can be purchased any time the club is open. The Queen of Hearts crew is looking for a few more volunteers to put on their calendar rotation starting in January - if you are interested in volunteering please reach out to Shelby Cota - volunteer hours at the Queen count toward new membership quotas. This Saturday we host our very popular meat raffle - arrive early if you expect to get a seat! Corn Chowder will be free and served until it is gone! We are still looking for basket donations for the raffle, donations can be dropped off at the club after 5:30 on Friday night! Grab your friends and come down and try to win some great meat for your upcoming holiday!
UPDATED IMPORTANT NOTICES TO ALL MEMBERS
2026 Membership Renewal Letters have been sent out via snail mail. If you did not receive one please visit our Membership page to download a copy. Membership dues are $75 and due by January 1st, 2026. Senior Members rates are $37.50 for any member who is 65 or older anytime in 2026. Payments received after 1/1/26 that do not include the $15 late fee will be returned. Members can visit the Membership page of our website for more details. Once dues have been paid, Membership Cards will be available for pickup behind the bar - cards will NOT be mailed. Questions about memberships can be sent to Jennifer O'Donnell, our Membership Secretary.
IMPORTANT PAYMENT UPDATE: Effective January 1st, 2026, PayPal will no longer be accepted for any type of club related business payments. After further review by our Board, the fees are considerable, and not worth the expense. All payments for taxes and annual dues must be sent in the form of a check payable to Templeton Fish & Game Club. Thank you.
IMPORTANT - The next monthly members meeting will be held Monday, November 24th starting at 6:30 sharp! Come participate in your club! The pond draw down will begin on Sunday November 30th - the dam is generally left open for 7-9 days - any work being done along the shoreline MUST have a permit! Any camp owners, especially those who live on the water, and plan to do any work in November or through the winter months must contact Eric Adamnson ASAP - these projects require an NOI from the state and take approximately 3 months to secure - once secured, they are good for three years. The Lot Committee meetings will resume in April 2026! Camps for sale are posted in the clubhouse and also on the Camps for Sale page of our website! Owners looking to publish their Camps for sale should contact Lynn Sayarath.
Camp owners who are selling their camps, please see the special notice posted on the Membership page of our website. Do you need to update your mailing address, email, or phone with the club? Please use our contact update form located on our website! You can find the form on our Member Forms page. Are you selling your camp? After posting the camp for sale at the Club, you can add a listing and photos to our "Camps for Sale" page on our website - please contact Lynn Sayarath bostonterrier97@comcast.net to add your camp details!
If you know someone not getting these Weekly Happenings, they can sign up to receive them by visiting the "Weekly Happenings Sign-Up" page on our website! You can also read an online version of the Weekly Happenings that will be posted every Wednesday afternoon on the homepage of our website after the emails are sent. Check out our website anytime you are looking for more information about the club!
Lastly, the club is open Tuesday 6-9 PM, Friday 5-9 PM, and Saturday and Sunday 1-4 PM (times may vary if there is an event at the club). Stop in and share some cheer!

A.IX.s9. All new exterior construction and any application for Building Permits must be approved by the Lot Committee before being submitted to the Town of Templeton – Building Department or Conservation Commission. All permits must be in place and brought to the Lot Committee before any work begins. Failure to obtain Lot Committee approval prior to beginning work will result in a one-time automatic/uncontestable “Unauthorized Construction Fine” in accordance with the Schedule of Fees and Fines, which will be added to the camp owner’s next quarterly tax bill.
